Job Summary
Comply with FDA Quality System Regulation (QSR) and cGMP requirements while performing synthesis, cleavage, deprotection, purification, desalting, pooling, and formulation of oligos using automated and manual lab equipment. Accurately record information in Manual Batch Records, perform SAP transactions, and organize workflow prioritization. Submit oligo samples for quality control tests and conduct limited maintenance and troubleshooting on lab equipment. Work Monday through Thursday from 10am to 9pm with schedule adaptability for occasional after-hours production support. This role is part of the Genomics Medicines Team located in Coralville, Iowa.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in relevant field OR high school diploma (or equivalent) and experience in relevant scientific manufacturing environment
- Ability to work Monday – Thursday - 10am – 9pm, with schedule adaptability to accommodate occasional after-hours production support
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences (biology, biochemistry, chemistry) or related field
- Previous experience in and knowledge of oligo manufacturing processes and products
