Job Summary

Conduct primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging, labeling, and assembly for Waters-ERA products while managing inventory control and cycle counts via Microsoft Great Plains or SAP. Fulfill work orders to meet customer delivery dates by ordering, reviewing, and packing finished goods, ensuring 100% compliance with specifications through peer review of production documentation. Assist laboratory chem techs and chemists during manufacturing, maintain organized work-in-progress storage, and support process improvements using Lean methods. Perform repetitive and non-routine tasks with attention to detail, lifting up to 40 lbs, while adhering to written SOPs to prevent service requests. Work in a team environment to update procedures and solve problems efficiently.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Education or GED
  • Must be willing to perform repetitive routine tasks consistently as well as non-routine tasks
  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs

Desired Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience working/intern in a laboratory environment
  • BS./B.A. in Science related field
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Attention to detail, organization, and ability to work quickly without errors
  • Ability to work with your hands requiring dexterity to handle small containers and packaging materials
  • Ability to work on one's own initiative as well as in a Team environment
  • Ability to work in a culture with productivity expectations and quantity output goals
  • Demonstrate sound judgment and ability to utilize Lean methods for problem solving
  • Ability to review work and find errors
  • Familiar with various Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, etc.)
