Job Summary
The Production Technician I will learn and perform day-to-day production tasks in the assigned area, preparing materials for the next day’s production, assisting with troubleshooting formulation deviations, performing routine procedures (media prep, dispensing, labeling, washing vessels), maintaining equipment, and logging data. The role requires following SOPs, maintaining training schedules, managing inventory, and collaborating with the manager and team to meet product deadlines. Prior chemistry/related science exposure and strong communication skills are preferred; ability to handle multiple projects, perform basic dilutions and conversions, and stand 8-10 hours daily with physical endurance is expected. Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Prior work experience
- Background in Chemistry or related science preferred
- Good human relations and oral/written communication skills
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations on basic dilutions and conversions
- Ability to stand on feet for a total of 8-10 hours daily
- Must be able to carry, lift, push and pull up to 40 pounds
