Job Summary
As a Production Technician I, you’ll operate machinery and equipment, including fillers, labelers, cappers, and other machinery to meet production goals. You will perform quality checks, document quality and productivity data, and maintain a clean and safe work environment. This role involves participating in continuous improvement activities, such as Kaizens and 5S projects, to drive efficiency and eliminate waste. Ideal candidates should have a high school diploma and previous experience in a plant or warehouse environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a plant or warehouse environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience completing training and mastering skills required by the position (e.g., Hazardous Material Safety and DOT training)
- Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools
- Experience with Total Production Management (TPM) and Continuous Improvement Systems
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work as part of a team
