Job Summary
Learn to perform every aspect of production and assembly by reading blueprints, build of materials, and work instructions to complete work orders. Follow procedures for assembly, disassembly, soldering, welding, machining, and analysis of electro-mechanical devices, then perform testing on units to ensure functionality. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems with completed assemblies to ensure they conform to design specifications and quality standards. Maintain clean, organized workstations using proper tools, PPE, and equipment to prevent incidents while assisting other technicians as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED
- Previous experience in factory or warehouse setting
- Proven work experience as an Assembly Technician or similar role
- Good eye-hand coordination
- The ability to use various hand tools
- Basic knowledge of electrical design and control circuits
- Basic knowledge of electronics & electro-mechanical assemblies
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Ability to read and follow schematics, blueprints, and instructions
- Ability to learn new technology, procedures, and specifications
Desired Qualifications
- High School or GED preferred
