Job Summary
Assemble, operate, and monitor state-of-the-art aseptic equipment including Vial Washers, Filling Machines, and Capping Machines while adhering to Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices. Perform basic machine set-up, troubleshooting, and load operations to meet process parameters, ensuring aseptic techniques minimize product contamination. Clean and sanitize production areas, transfer raw materials and finished goods, and assist cross-functional teams with equipment tasks. Maintain gown qualifications and conduct microbiological monitoring within designated zones. Work 12-hour overnight shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule in a heavily regulated environment requiring proficiency in English and adherence to Health, Safety, and Quality Management Systems.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education
- one year of experience in a relevant work environment
- Able to work 12hr shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule
- Able to stand on concrete floors for an extended period of time
- Able to lift up to 35 pounds by bending and lifting
- Able to move heavy equipment and components as needed
- Able to work with hazardous materials including antineoplastic products and raw materials that could lead to serious illness/injury
- Able to wear required personal protective equipment (eye protection, safety shoes, gown, gloves)
- Must be able to understand, speak, and write English
- The successful candidate must be able to effectively speak, read, write, and understand English to perform the essential functions of the position
