Job Summary
Production Technicians operate heavy, moderately complex foundry equipment in a manufacturing environment, including presses, mills, casters, shredders, ovens, annealers, and/or slitters. Responsibilities include ensuring continuous product flow while visually inspecting to meet quality standards and customer specifications, reading and interpreting safety rules and operating manuals, operating forklifts, monitoring machine calibrations, setting up and tearing down machines safely, maintaining quality control levels, and complying with safety protocols. Must be able to work a 2x2x3 schedule (12-hour shifts, alternating days/nights every 6 weeks), lift up to 50 lbs, have basic Microsoft and math skills, and work with minimal supervision; forklift experience is a plus. Location is Fort Lupton, CO, USA.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrate the ability to work safely in manufacturing environment
- Pass pre-employment drug test
- Work any shift (2x2x3 schedule), 12 hours per shifts, alternating day/nights every 6 weeks
- Have basic Microsoft computer skills and possess basic/fundamental math skills
- Work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Have strong attention to detail identifying defects and suggesting corrections
- Physically able to lift, carry and move up to 50 lbs
- Forklift experience is a plus
