Job Summary
As a Production Technician for Corteva Agriscience in Wahpeton, ND, you will operate a variety of process equipment, follow Quality Plan Work Instructions, and collect data for continuous improvement. You’ll support preventative maintenance, assist with warehousing and field/harvest activities, and participate in safety programs to protect people, products, and performance. The role involves working with automation/computer systems (e.g., HMI, SAP/ERP), potential field management activities, and performing duties aligned with safety and quality standards on-site at Corteva. Education requirement is High School Diploma/GED (or willing to obtain GED within one year). Visa sponsorship and relocation assistance are not offered. A rotating shift, occasional overtime, and weekend/holiday work are expected.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (or willingness to obtain GED within one year of hire)
- Legally able to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available)
- Willingness and ability to work a rotating shift including weekends and holidays during seasonal peaks
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Comfortable with technology (computers, iPads) and basic MS Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Able to stand/sit for extended periods and lift up to 60 lbs
- Valid US driver’s license to operate company vehicle when needed
