Job Summary
Production Technician responsible for maintaining and inspecting raw grinding, finish grinding, materials blending, calcining, clinker cooling, coal mill, and related equipment to ensure proper operation. Tasks include conducting visual inspections of weighing, grinding, blending, conveying, kiln, and cooling equipment; monitoring material flow from storage to mills, silos, kiln, and clinker storage; operating valves/slides/gates to control material flow; reporting bin/tank/silo levels; assisting with preheater tower and kiln inlet scaling; performing minor repairs and assisting maintenance; supporting with equipment repairs and malfunctions; cleaning work areas; assisting with mixing additives during finish grinding; starting auxiliary motors; maintaining safety culture and PPE usage; operating heavy equipment (wheel loaders, skid steers, dump trucks, forklifts, manlifts) as required; and communicating status to Production Teams and Supervisors. The role emphasizes year-round outdoor work in extreme temperatures, heavy lifting, and adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies, with a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School or GED
- Ability to work outdoors year-round in extreme temperatures
- Must be able to work rotating 12-hour shifts (days/nights/weekends/holidays)
- Capability to lift 75-100 lbs regularly
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
- Adherence to safety protocols and proper use of PPE (including respirator use)
