Job Summary
Conduct assembly, test, and configuration of electro-mechanical products, including cable harness builds and full system integration. Perform fault finding and troubleshooting at the component level while accurately recording and documenting all work. Utilize test equipment such as oscilloscopes and signal generators to debug mechanical, optical, and electronic components. Requires formal engineering qualification, SMT soldering experience, and schematics reading skills. Join a collaborative team delivering high-quality advanced technology products.
Required Qualifications
- Formal engineering or relevant qualification
- Strong understanding of electronic fundamentals
- Experience with SMT soldering to 0201 and PCB repair
- Wiring and cable assembly experience
- Ability to read and understand schematics
- Confident using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DVMs and signal generators
- Computer literate
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of PCB design software
- Experience with Solidworks or similar mechanical design tools
- Understanding of analogue and digital video processing
- Awareness of clean room techniques for opto mechanical assembly
