Job Summary
Production Technician at Cargill with a night shift (12-hr schedule) performing operations across mixers, batching, mills, grinders, packing, weighing, and palletizing. Responsibilities include operating equipment, collecting product samples, monitoring tank levels, manufacturing products to specifications, collaborating with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement, operating forklifts and other mobile equipment, adhering to safety policies, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment. Job requires ability to work varied indoor/outdoor conditions, overtime, and English communication; location Geneva, MN. Compensation starts at $25.00/hour with differential of $0.75/hour and benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, and more.
Required Qualifications
- Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Be 18 years or older
- Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions with PPE
- Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
- Ability to perform physical job duties including bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, twisting with or without accommodation
- Ability to work overtime including holidays, nights, weekends, or different shifts with advance notice
- Forklift experience preferred (5-year forklift experience considered advantageous)
