Job Summary
Production Technician role at Cargill involving operating facility equipment (mixers, batching, mills, grinders, packing, weighing, palletizers), collecting product samples, monitoring tank levels, inputting data in computer systems, manufacturing to specifications, and maintaining a safe, teamwork-focused environment. Night shift (12hr 2-2-3) with differential; requires forklift operation, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, ability to work in varying indoor/outdoor conditions, and overtime availability. Starting pay is $25/hour with experience-based increases; benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), FSAs, and tuition reimbursement. Required Qualifications
- Be 18 years or older
- Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions with PPE
- Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
- Ability to perform physical job duties including bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, twisting with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work overtime including holidays, nights, weekends, or different shifts with advance notice
- Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts and other mobile equipment
- Experience in production-related work (preferred)
- Forklift experience (5-year preferred)
- Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
