Production Technician

Job Summary
Operate injection molding machines, ovens, and automated machinery to assemble, coat, and sandblast stator tubes while troubleshooting production issues and fulfilling work orders. Maintain equipment by performing technical maintenance, setting up tools, and operating material handling devices like overhead cranes and pressure washers. Conduct quality inspections on finished products and stators to ensure they meet standards, strictly adhering to safety protocols and EPA/OSHA regulations. Manage materials, document production data, and collaborate with production and quality teams to maintain efficiency. This safety-sensitive role requires standing for extended periods, lifting moderate weights, and wearing full PPE in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1-3 years of relevant industry experience
- Able to advise on service and repair to the equipment, building and grounds as required and work with outside vendors for scheduling and supervising of service and repair
- Able to operate material handling equipment (forklift, crane)
- Strong 'hands-on' mechanical aptitude
- Proven track record for excellent project management
- Valid drivers license and/or record that conforms to company requirements
- Must be US citizen or lawful permanent resident of the United States of America, and able to travel outside the US when needed
- Strong working knowledge of Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and components, up to 25 pounds
- Ability to operate basic office equipment, such as a keyboard, mouse, copier/printer/scanning machine
- Sit and/or stand for long periods of time, up to 8-10 hours a day
- Walk/travel to production areas while wearing appropriate Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), which at a minimum includes safety glasses, steel toe shoes/boots and other PPE
- Strict adherence to Company's safety policies and procedures including the Drug and Alcohol policy
