Production Technician- Assembly

Job Summary
Produce and assemble machinery parts, operate production equipment, monitor and maintain machines, inspect for defects, report defective products or machinery, follow safety procedures to prevent hazards, transfer equipment manually or with a forklift, meet production deadlines during shifts, keep work area clean, follow manufacturing manuals, and ensure timely shipping procedures. Requires lifting up to 100 pounds, ability to work in potentially hazardous environments, and compliance with safety rules; includes travel occasionally as per position needs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years of experience in production/warehouse environment
- Previous experience as a production worker or in a similar role in a warehouse
- Good understanding of how production equipment works
- Ability to lift heavy loads and transfer them manually
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of basic safety rules and precautionary measures (safety gear provided)
- Ability to detect potential problems with machinery
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide) and basic computer skills
