Job Summary
Clean, inspect, assemble, and test Alliant Power's remanufactured products by following established methods and procedures documented on the Alliant Power Wiki. Produce the average number of components required in your designated work area while maintaining a clean, organized workspace with proper labeling. Operate in conformance with quality management system requirements and complete required documentation in the business software system. Promptly alert supervision of any machine or facility issues and ensure personal protective equipment is used as required. Assist in continuous improvement, train other employees, and provide feedback on system needs. Work overtime as required and be available in all production areas.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Well organized
- Detail oriented
- Strong inter-personal skills
- Self-starter with initiative and ability to work independently
- Regular attendance
- Accurately recording work time by punching the time clock
- Proficient computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to regularly sit or stand, bend and reach
- Reliable transportation to work
- Willingness to work overtime as required by workload
- Availability to work in all areas of production
- Conformance with the requirements of the quality management system
