Job Summary
Production Technician (2nd Shift) in a warehouse/industrial setting. Responsibilities include wiring/de-wiring and fixture work on metal parts (injection molds, gears, knife blades, etc.), inspecting, cleaning, packing parts, and cross-training to operate coating room equipment. After training, perform duties independently with minimal supervision, maintain clean and safe work environment, wear PPE, and lift 50lbs solo and 50+ lbs with a team. Additional duties may include hand cleaning, blasting cabinets, loading into cleaning tanks, coating room tasks, operating equipment, and shipping/receiving as needed. Must be able to stand for long periods, move around the floor, and have strong manual dexterity and attention to detail; ability to pass background check and drug screen. Education: high school diploma or equivalent.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 50lbs. (solo lift) and 50+ lbs. (team lift)
- Must be able to bend and move
- Standing for long periods of time
- Physically move around the production floor to move parts from one station to the next
- Must have good manual dexterity, a strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn new things
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
- Must wear appropriate PPE as required
- Prior production and/or machine operating experience (desired)
- High school/Diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a production or warehouse environment or equivalent internal experience preferred
