Job Summary
Load product from production lines into trailers efficiently and operate semi-automatic bagging machines while visually checking all product for defects. Monitor, clear, and reset production lines to maintain smooth flow, assist operators with machine start-ups and shut-downs, and grind up rejected bottles. Identify and communicate safety hazards, complete daily quality control reports, and maintain a clean work environment by adhering to all safety policies. Train new employees, support other departments as needed, and ensure proper PPE is worn at all times. Perform these duties while working a rotating shift schedule and standing for long periods.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Remain focused and efficient while conducting repetitive tasks and working within tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- An ability to lift 10 lbs.
- High level of integrity and work ethic
- An ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to work a rotating shift schedule
- Ensure proper PPE is worn at all times within the facility
- Required: High School or GED
- 1 year manufacturing experience
- Must be dependable
- Have a good attendance record
- Be able to understand bottle specifications to assure proper bottle inspection
