Job Summary
Production Technician 1 at Lubrizol, on-site full-time role in Jurong, Singapore. You will assist with process units, material transfers, and utilities operations, perform basic frontline maintenance under close SOP-guided supervision, participate in process sampling and basic testing to ensure product quality, and support safety, risk control, and continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities include blending operations, transferring additives between bulk and smaller packages, inventory control, line pigging and equipment flushing during batch changeovers, isotainer and storage-tank heating, operating plant equipment (air compressors, boilers, pumps, heat exchangers, etc.), and performing minor maintenance and 5S improvements. Requires NITEC in an Engineering/Technical field, 2 years manufacturing experience, and willingness to work night shifts; forklift training will be provided where applicable. Emphasizes a safe, inclusive work environment with opportunities for development and growth.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum NITEC in any Engineering or Technical field
- Minimum experience equivalent to 2 years in a manufacturing environment
- Prior technical experience in a chemical company or prior working experience in a lubricant blending company would be an advantage
- Good technical skills in handling rotary equipment & pipeline operations
- Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, etc.
- A good team player and able to interact effectively with others
- Able to perform night duty when required
