Production Tech I

Manufacture of pre-impregnated composite materials to aerospace standards. Responsibilities include safe handling and operation of manufacturing machines, adhering to health and safety procedures (COSHH) and AS9100 quality standards, assisting Team Leader and Senior Operators to meet production targets and KPIs, helping with stock control and cycle counts, preparing materials for manufacturing runs (tape cores, bag sealing, handling resin and paper waste, labeling and boxing), operating equipment such as a handheld crane and chiller, completing daily/weekly inspections, maintaining high housekeeping standards, minimizing waste and production costs, and completing required paperwork to comply with AS9100. The role includes full training across production areas and may require weekend work and overtime. Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with physical demands and PPE usage.
