Production Tech - Flowback Operations

Job Summary
Monitor well pressures, fluid rates, and equipment performance during daily flowback operations, operating automated choke systems, control panels, and surface equipment including separators, manifolds, and meters. Troubleshoot automation failures, sensor drift, and communication issues while coordinating with completions, facilities, and engineering teams to ensure efficient well transitions. Prepare daily reports on production data, downtime, and alarms, entering flowback metrics into corporate systems and verifying accurate measurement of oil, gas, and water volumes. Perform minor repairs on fittings, valves, and controllers, supervise contract personnel during field activities, and act as a liaison between field teams and functional support. Expect non-scheduled call-outs outside normal hours to support safe, environmentally responsible operations and minimize downtime.
Required Qualifications
- Prior flowback, completions, production operations, lease operator, automation technician, or measurement technician experience
- Working knowledge of wellhead equipment, automated flowback equipment, separators, tanks, flowlines, valves, meters, instrumentation, and pressure-control equipment
- Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements including background, drug test, MVR, agility and fit for duty
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with automated choke systems, flowback control panels, pressure transmitters, level controls, electronic measurement, SCADA, or remote monitoring systems
