Job Summary
Operate adjustable table-mounted grinders and belt sanders to grind and fit metal cast assemblies, ensuring precision and quality. Execute and sustain performance relative to established processes and safety documents for consistent production. Perform quality control using hand grinding tools and dimensional gauges for accurate fitting of products. Engage in hands-on manufacturing tasks, maintain equipment, and collaborate with team members to meet production goals. Demonstrate excellent attendance, adherence to safety protocols, and consistent quality output.
Required Qualifications
- Proven ability or willingness to become forklift certified
- Ability to use a full-face respirator safely and effectively
- Comfort with exposure to heat, noise, and dust
- Physical capability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or fabrication experience
- Experience using grinding tools or similar equipment
- Background in steelworking, machining, or foundry operations
- Strong team player with adaptability and a hands-on approach
