Job Summary
Production Team Member capable of performing a variety of tasks in a meat-processing environment, including cutting, sorting, skinning, and boning with knives or saws, using hand tools and machinery, while upholding animal welfare, quality control, and food-safety standards. Requires physical fitness for frequent lifting, standing, and working in temperature-extreme, noisy, and odorous conditions; must wear protective PPE and work alternating long shifts with potential overtime. 1st shift, Monday–Friday; benefits include health, dental/vision insurance, 401(k), PTO, and employee referral program.
Required Qualifications
- Previous meat cutting or food handling preferred
- Manual material handling with hand tools, knives, machinery
- Ability to wear protective equipment (hard hat, hearing protection, eye protection, protective-toed boots, gloves)
- Ability to walk long distances on wet, uneven and slippery surfaces
- Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds; standing for extended periods
- Exposure to temperature extremes (22-100°F); noisy/odorous environment
- First shift availability; Monday to Friday; OT possible
