Job Summary
Operate and oversee complex production machinery, including mixers, fillers, sealers, and packaging systems, while configuring settings for varied production runs. Monitor line performance to improve efficiency and quality, conducting in-depth inspections and audits to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and internal benchmarks. Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including cleaning and troubleshooting minor issues, and mentor junior operators on best practices. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and support safety protocols on the production floor. This 1st shift role runs Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM with pay starting at $18.50/hr. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50lbs over an entire shift
- Ability to physically perform repetitive motions of grasping, lifting, pulling, pushing, crouching, kneeling, and reaching
- Ability to work in a hot, humid environment when performing sanitation tasks
- Ability to use knives to cut open bags and dump 50lb bags at a high frequency
- Must wear required PPE while in all manufacturing areas
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a food processing or production environment
- Experience in a kitchen, food service, or manufacturing environment
- Experience with food preparation or handling
- Familiarity with food safety standards, including HACCP and GMP practices
- Food safety certifications (e.g., ServSafe)
