Job Summary
Lead and motivate production associates to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and production objectives in the Weld department. Collaborate with leadership to implement innovative workflow solutions, train team members, and solve operational problems. Perform quality part checks, enforce containment procedures, and maintain area cleanliness to reduce hazards. Assist with PPE cost management, complete production documents like downtime and scrap reports, and verify line setups. Operate equipment and drive forklifts as needed. This 1st Shift role (Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm) requires standing on concrete up to 12 hours, working overtime, and passing a drug screen and physical. Required Qualifications
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers
- Ability to quickly ascertain a situation and be decisive in identifying defects and solving problems with equipment and process to avoid missed quality, delivery or safety concerns
- Ability to stand on concrete up to 12 hours
- Ability and willingness to work overtime as required to meet customer demands
