Production Team Leader

Job Summary
Assimilate and train new team members within their area/zone while communicating safety news, quality findings, and line rate goals during daily pre-shift meetings. Ensure all personnel follow safety procedures and obtain proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when necessary. Work with the team to generate ideas for Continuous Improvement and hold members accountable for adherence to standardized work and safety guidelines. Escalate production issues or systemic problems to Group Leaders and maintain shift-to-shift communications with other Team Leaders. Update and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and other metrics for the area/zone. This Full-Time role reports to the Production Group Leader and supports approximately 5-10 team members on a production work team.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience leading others in a work or volunteer capacity
- Must possess a genuine people-centric mentality and a heart for servant leadership
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Problem solving and troubleshooting ability
- Proven leadership capabilities
- High school diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Understanding of manufacturing processes
