Production Team Lead

Job Summary
Lead production operations on an automotive manufacturing line, providing daily leadership and direction to the production team, planning material flow to minimize downtime, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Coach and develop line colleagues, monitor quality and safety standards, plan team schedules, and promote a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork. Use SAP and dashboards (with some self-programmed) to manage performance, and apply root-cause analysis and corrective actions to optimize line performance.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment
- Proven leadership abilities with the capability to motivate, guide, and support team members on the production floor
- Strong understanding of workplace safety standards within a manufacturing setting (training provided as needed)
- Ability to obtain required tugger operation certification within 90 days of appointment
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to lead effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented production environment
