Production Team Lead

Production Team Lead oversees and coordinates activities of workers operating a variety of machines to manufacture parts or products. As a team leader, you will be the contact point for all team members, so your communication skills must be excellent. You should also be able to act proactively to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration. The team leader will also have experience with inventory management and control. Responsibilities include analyzing and resolving work problems, estimating worker hours and creating machining schedules, ensuring materials flow to prevent shortages, developing measures to improve production methods and quality, directing machine adjustments, maintaining production records, monitoring productivity, enforcing PPE usage, performing minor equipment maintenance, and communicating in-process defects downstream.
