Production Team Lead - Packaging - Evening Shift

Job Summary
Ensure daily coffee production orders are complete and shipped through direct communication with team members, guiding production progress throughout the Sunday-Thursday 1:00pm-9:30pm shift. Train production staff on packaging tasks, cross-train team members, and lead daily huddles while troubleshooting setbacks. Use digital shipping software to create and print domestic and international labels, monitor inventory levels, and manage low-level reorder points. Stock and organize received materials, label and organize packaging to fill orders, and fulfill expedited shipping by assigned pickup times. Blend, bag, and pack coffee with high attention to detail while sweeping floors, cleaning bag machines, and maintaining Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices. Collaborate professionally with all team members, including the Production Leader, to support production shifts and improve work processes in the warehouse environment.
Required Qualifications
- +1 year production experience, preferably in coffee
- The ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time (at least 8 hours per day and 5 days per week)
- The use of hands to handle or feel, and the ability to reach with hands and arms
- The ability to stoop, kneel, or crouch
- The ability to squat, bend, twist, and reach for items below waist level or above shoulders
- The ability to lift, push/pull, carry, and/or move up to 50 pounds
- The ability to listen and speak
- The ability to climb ladders, stairs, ramps, and uneven floors and/or surfaces as needed
- The ability to have close visual acuity to perform repetitive visual checking, counting, spotting small defects, determining accuracy of numbers and packages
- The ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
- Basic computer skills including: Opening, saving and sending electronic files; experience using email; basic knowledge of Microsoft Word (or similar programs), Google Suite (Google Docs, Google Numbers), iWork (Pages, Numbers, Keynote)
