Job Summary
Lead daily production operations by coordinating fabrication activities, interpreting technical drawings, and operating CNC machinery to meet customer demand. Provide leadership to the team, conduct quality inspections, and resolve issues with equipment, materials, and processes while maintaining an OTDC of 95% and lead times of 5–7 days. Perform general belt fabrication, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems, and implement predictive maintenance for shop machines. Collaborate with Planning, Quality, and Warehouse teams to align priorities and ensure tour-ready facility standards. Work Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm, in Mississauga.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience as industrial machine operator, CNC, Belt Fabrication
- High school Diploma, GED, Technical/Trade School or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead by example and maintain high standards of safety, quality and productivity
- Ability to read and comprehend shop orders, blueprints and working drawings written in English
- Must be able to read and interpret measuring devices (tape measures, calipers, scales)
- Ability to complete basic mathematical functions (add, subtract, multiply, divide) using whole numbers, fractions, decimals and metric system
- Knowledge of preventive/predictive maintenance practices and troubleshooting techniques
- Must be able to work in Canada for any employer
- Must have a valid G Driver's License
- Must be available for Monday to Friday - Permanent Full-time position, 40 hours per week
- Must be available for Morning shift only (no night or afternoon shift) -> 8:30 am to 5 pm
- This is NOT a rotating shift work
