Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate production activities for 10+ workers in a plastic extrusion environment, overseeing ASME parts coordination including receipt, labeling, scheduling, and work assignment. Read complex technical drawings, instruct employees on tasks, and solve practical manufacturing problems while maintaining strict safety and housekeeping standards. Manage inventory and productivity to achieve company objectives, utilizing strong ERP skills and MS Office proficiency to coordinate efforts with fellow co-workers. Requires 3-5 years of experience supervising machine operators and Metal Fabricators, with a degree in engineering or relevant field being an asset. Full-time permanent role in Vaughan, ON.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 3-5 years of proven experience as a team lead or similar role
- Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
- Knowledge or experience in extrusion of plastic
- Advanced skills in MS Office
- Advanced skills in ERP
- Organizational and leadership abilities
- Communication and interpersonal skills
