Job Summary
Hands-on Assembly Team Lead to guide a team of assembly technicians on the Panama City production floor, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency while driving daily production goals. Responsibilities include leading and coordinating line operations, training and coaching staff, monitoring output against work orders and blueprints, identifying bottlenecks and quality concerns, maintaining production records, and collaborating with the Production Supervisor on staffing and workflow. Must read and interpret drawings, prefer supervisory experience, and sustain a 4-day workweek with occasional overtime. Requires High School Diploma or GED and at least 2 years in assembly/manufacturing.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in assembly or manufacturing production environment
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and assembly drawings
- Prior experience in a lead, mentor, or supervisory capacity preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to give clear direction on a fast-paced production floor
- Analytical mindset with a focus on quality, efficiency, and problem-solving
- Commitment to safety, dependability, and punctuality
- Basic math and computer skills for recordkeeping and reporting
- Availability for flexible hours and overtime as production demands require.
