Job Summary
Coordinate support efforts between production and engineering teams while monitoring workflow to maintain acceptable flow levels. Identify training needs, arrange activities, and track progress to ensure all employees complete required training. Manage workflow by ensuring proper handling of production parts, expired materials, and calibrated items according to work instructions. Resolve basic Tier 1 employee conflicts and provide performance feedback to supervisors for reviews. Complete defect forms, review rejection data for continuous improvement, and attend production status meetings as a representative. Perform necessary ERP transactions including work order splits, inventory adjustments, and labor transactions while verifying all process steps. Maintain a safe, compliant environment and ensure tools and hardware are available for efficient job performance.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 3-5 years of manufacturing experience
- Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
- Ability to effectively communicate instructions to team(s) and listen to feedback
- Must be able to serve as a coach, mentor, role model for their own front line staff and others
- Must be willing to be a leader in the area(s)/department(s)
- Must be able to work in a team environment with peers
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds
- Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Authorization to access items subject to U.S. export-control laws under applicable law
