Job Summary
Production Support Technician responsible for setting up workstations and hardware, maintaining inventory and organized floor/storage areas, diagnosing and repairing equipment, initial hardware deployment, updating builds/firmware/OS/images to PCs and mobile devices, assisting with floor planning and device allocation, providing technical support and troubleshooting, documenting procedures, and contributing to department knowledge. Requires basic to intermediate PC/Windows installation and networking skills, willingness to learn other platforms, and strong problem-solving, organizational, and collaboration skills. Office-based in Bengaluru, India with flexibility for after-hours coverage as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Entry-level position with 0-6 months experience encouraged to apply
- Basic to intermediate PC/Windows installation and troubleshooting skills
- Basic to intermediate networking knowledge
- Basic understanding of build installation and related troubleshooting on Windows and Mobile
- Exposure to platforms other than the PC is a plus
- Willingness to learn other platforms
- Ability to learn, analyze problems, and work under pressure
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Complies with security and confidentiality policy
- Flexibility to work evenings, nights, and weekends
