Job Summary
Production Support Technician responsible for preparing materials and components for fabrication, including cutting, staging, and kitting; operates forklifts, overhead cranes, and shop equipment; assists with press brake and plasma operations; assembles production kits and stages materials for welders/fabricators; emphasizes safety, organization, and ability to work independently or in a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16"
- Basic blueprint reading skills
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Forklift experience is a plus (training available)
- Ability to operate overhead cranes (experience a plus)
- Manufacturing, fabrication, or material handling experience preferred
- Team player with a strong work ethic
- High degree of attention required to prevent injury to self and others
- Agree to wear PPE as required
- Successfully pass pre-employment background check, drug screen and physical
