Job Summary
Production Support Technician at American Bin & Conveyor in Burlington, WI is responsible for preparing materials for fabrication, cutting steel according to drawings and cut lists, staging materials for fabrication and welding, assembling production kits, and operating forklifts, overhead cranes, and shop equipment. The role supports press brake and plasma operations as needed, maintains organized work areas, enforces safety procedures, and can work independently or as part of a fast-paced manufacturing team on the first shift. Requirements include the ability to read a tape measure to 1/16", basic blueprint reading, strong attention to detail, forklift/overhead crane experience (plus), and willingness to pass background checks and physical examinations. Required Qualifications
- Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16"
- Basic blueprint reading skills
- Forklift experience is a plus (training available)
- Ability to operate overhead cranes (experience a plus)
- Manufacturing, fabrication, or material handling experience preferred
- Team player with a strong work ethic
- Agree to wear PPE as required
- Successfully pass pre-employment background check, drug screen and physical.
