Job Summary
Production Lead responsible for directly supervising Production Support teammates in the Optical Lab manufacturing environment. Serves as technical lead to optimize job flow, staffing, quality, productivity, and turnaround. Will plan, organize, direct and control work, coordinate with the Production Support Manager, manage materials/inventory, order supplies, and oversee inbound/outbound logistics. Requires hands-on production duties, ensuring training, safety compliance, performance feedback, and opportunities for morale and process improvements. Must be able to work on 1st shift,lift up to 75 pounds, read/write at HS level, and travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of previous related experience in optical (eyewear) manufacturing, retail or other relevant leadership experience
- Demonstrated hands on leadership capability
