Job Summary
Provide technical guidance and subject matter expertise for the bank's Host to Host channel's API offerings and offer specialist business and systems support to Corporate and Investment banking clients. Act as a liaison between product and client engagement teams to resolve production queries, troubleshoot existing integrations, and facilitate issue resolution with technology partners. Conduct system, data integrity, and user acceptance testing with technology platforms while expertly troubleshooting network problems. Identify process and technology opportunities to improve API service offerings and drive internal efficiencies related to the bank's Host-to-Host platform.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years technical and support experience
- Office-based with willingness to work weekends and extended hours when required
- Experience with SQL and various databases (e.g., MySQL), APIs, and file transfer protocols
- Ability to understand JSON/XML
- Excellent communication skills for internal and external stakeholder engagement
- Relevant degree
- Proven experience with hands-on API integrations and technical support in a banking environment
- Knowledge of relevant internet and connectivity protocols
- Expertise in reading log files, understanding traceroute and telnets
- Creative and collaborative thinker with quick problem-solving abilities
- Self-starter, dependable, detail-oriented, and time management sensitive
- Stakeholder management experience at different organizational levels
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
