Job Summary
Provide daily application and system support to the International Wealth Management Division on rotating shifts, including on-call coverage and IT Helpdesk manning. Monitor critical components, troubleshoot system issues, and resolve incidents while liaising with users to ensure timely remediation. Coordinate with infrastructure, development, and vendor teams on release management, change implementation, and production rollouts. Manage incident postmortems to mitigate root causes and participate in business continuity planning and regional projects. Maintain high performance and availability of the production environment using Unix, SQL, and Oracle skills.
Required Qualifications
- University graduate
- Minimum 3 years of application support experience in application support role in banking environment financial institution
- Experience in supporting Wealth Management system
- Experience in supporting Order Management system
- Experience in supporting Execution Management system
- Hands on experience in Oracle 19c
- Hands on experience in MSSQL
- Hands on experience in UNIX
- Hands on experience in Windows operating environments
- Ability to multitask and prioritize under pressure
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
- Willing to learn and able to adapt to different technologies
- Selfmotivated responsible and reliable team player
- Hands on experience in either Avaloq Margin Man or AWS
- Strong experience of working with Unix based applications
- Ability to write scripts
- Ability to work on automation
- Experience with job scheduling systems
- Ideally Autosys
Desired Qualifications
- Completed Avaloq Certification training
- ITIL v3 or similar qualifications
- Knowledge of market data and financial models
- Practical understanding of FIX protocol
- Understanding on cloud operations
- Microservices
- Python
- Perl
- Excel skill
- Communicates well across all levels
- Demonstrate basic financial understanding in FXMM Equity Derivatives and associated front to back operational workflow
