Job Summary
Production Supervisor will lead and coach the assembly staff to meet on-time delivery of sub-assembly, power assembly, and final product, collaborating with Master Scheduler and Planning to execute production commitments. Responsible for safety, quality, and delivery performance, managing capacity and cycle times, conducting daily start-of-shift stand-up meetings, and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001/ISO 14001; will drive continuous improvement through LEAN and 6S initiatives, supervise ERP/PDM-driven processes, and coordinate support from other functions to optimize production efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Have at least 5 years of experience leading assembly operations in a manufacturing environment
- Degree in Business Management preferred
- Strong knowledge of computer applications, MRP, ERP, and Microsoft Office
- Intermediate skill with Excel is essential
- Ability to lift to 50lbs
- Knowledge of manufacturing controls — Capacity planning, inventory control, Bills of Materials, Engineering drawings and Change Orders, Document Control, and Work Instructions
- Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and follow-through
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
