Job Summary
Assure procedures are followed to achieve maximum productivity and cost efficiency while maintaining customer specifications. Plan and schedule manpower, materials, product, and machines to maintain safety, quality, and personnel standards. Manage employee performance through positive and corrective feedback, and investigate areas for quality improvement, cost reduction, and equipment maintenance. Promote department goodwill through proactive communication and safety initiatives across the wing line area. Requires 1+ years of supervisory experience managing 20+ employees, with poultry industry experience preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) and ability to work 1st shift including occasional weekends are essential. Base salary is $70,000 with medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits starting after 60 days.
Required Qualifications
- 1 or more years of previous Supervisory experience
- Previous leadership skills with 20 or more employees
- Effective communication both orally and in writing
- Capable of independent decision making
- Must have basic computer knowledge
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Must be able to work assigned hours/days - including occasional weekends - as required
- High School Diploma/GED
- Must be willing to work 1st shift
Desired Qualifications
- Poultry or food industry experience a plus
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- College Degree in related field preferred
