Job Summary
Production Supervisor on Weekend Shift responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the assigned department(s) by assuring that productivity, quality and safety standards are maintained. Plan, supervise, and direct daily production operations; instruct, train, orient, and coach employees; maintain and promote 6S and lean manufacturing; establish and maintain customer relationships and collaborate across the organization to achieve safety, production, and quality objectives. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, facilitates breakthroughs by integrating diverse views, and communicates effectively across all levels. Maintains equipment condition and coordinates maintenance services; supports a culture of continuous improvement and provides timely information and follow-through.
Required Qualifications
- Two (2) year associate degree plus one (1) year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience including direction, engagement and coaching
- Effective communication skills, written and verbal, when dealing with all levels of the organization
- Strong planning, organization, problem-solving, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
- Solid computer skills including MS Office Suite
