Job Summary
Production Supervisor needed to oversee the manufacturing process for the assigned area and shift, lead hourly employees, drive safety and continuous improvement, coordinate plant resources, enforce policies, and communicate performance related to safety, quality, and cost. The role includes leading pre-shift meetings, training and cross-training, maintaining production standards, and collaborating with support groups to achieve plant objectives, while developing employees through coaching, recognition, and timely feedback.
Required Qualifications
- 4 year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Experience in a front line supervisory or team lead role in a manufacturing environment.
- General manufacturing experience required.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead others.
- Must be comfortable in group presentations.
- Good interpersonal skills when dealing with tough employee issues.
- Proficient in MS Suite, basic computer skills, typing and email etiquette skills required.
