Job Summary
Production Supervisor leading multi-department, multi-shift manufacturing operations; responsible for team development, safety, adherence to policies, cost and productivity targets, and continuous improvement initiatives (5S, TPM). Collaborates with maintenance, drives employee performance evaluations and training, monitors costs and inventory, prepares production records, and ensures quality and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced plant setting. Must operate forklift as needed and support hazardous material handling procedures when assigned to the Treating Department.
Required Qualifications
- Post-high school education
- 3–5 years of manufacturing experience
- 1–3 years of experience leading or supervising employees
- Ability to clearly communicate expectations, priorities, and timelines
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic production environment
- Successfully complete forklift driver certification
