Job Summary
Plan and coordinate daily production activities to meet output targets and delivery schedules in a pre-hung door manufacturing facility. Start up production each shift, assign work based on priorities, and monitor flow to identify and resolve bottlenecks. Supervise, train, and cross-train employees while leading daily safety and quality meetings. Enforce safety policies, conduct inspections, and investigate incidents to maintain a compliant work environment. Troubleshoot machinery issues, coordinate repairs, and verify material staging accuracy. Complete production reports and tactical tracking. Serve as backup to the Production Manager.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in door, millwork, or building products
- Strong knowledge of production processes, machinery, and workflow management
- Proven ability to lead teams, enforce safety standards, and resolve operational issues effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with general contractors and customers
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Clear verbal and written communication skills for interacting with crews, customers, and internal teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with pre-hung door production processes (prep, machining, assembly, staging) preferred
