Job Summary
Production Supervisor leading a team in Tyson Foods’ Prepared Foods division. Responsibilities include building, training, retaining, and coaching a production team; managing daily production orders, shipments, and inventory rotation; ensuring all workstations are staffed and machinery is operating; promoting safety and conducting monthly safety meetings; collaborating with other supervisors to solve problems; ensuring quality and compliance with USDA inspections; and performing other duties as needed. Requires high school diploma (vocational/college courses preferred), 1+ years in manufacturing with supervisory experience preferred, strong leadership and communication skills, basic computer skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma; additional vocational or college courses preferred
- 1+ years in a manufacturing environment highly preferred; prior supervisory experience required
- Basic computer skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills; ability to work with minimal supervision
- Willingness to travel occasionally to other facilities or corporate locations
