Production Supervisor - Timber

Job Summary
Oversee daily operations of the timber team, including Production Workers, Forklift Operators, Stock Controllers, and Drivers, while ensuring all timber and hardware orders are fulfilled accurately, efficiently, and on time. Plan and allocate workloads based on daily dispatch requirements and available resources, liaising with the Operations Manager on production planning, staffing, and process improvements. Support Transport coordinators with delivery schedules and maintain a safe, organized work environment with a strong commitment to safety, health, and environmental responsibility. Valid High Risk Forklift license and proven warehouse leadership experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid High Risk Forklift license
- Valid Driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Cert IV in Leadership or management or relevant tertiary training
- Proven experience in a timber yard or warehouse operations, with leadership responsibilities
- Strong people management and team coordination skills
- Solid understanding of timber products, warehouse processes, and safety standards
- Strong knowledge of chain of responsibility legislation and NHVR requirements
- Proven ability to adapt and problem solve
- A continuous learner with good communication skills
