Job Summary
Oversee daily production operations, ensuring targets are met while maintaining quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. Review daily schedules, assign work, and monitor break compliance to ensure smooth handovers and labor law adherence. Train staff on processes and safety, enforce food safety standards, and supervise equipment cleaning and storage. Identify process improvements and lead by example to foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Work 10-hour overnight shifts Tuesday through Friday in a cold environment, lifting up to 50 lbs, with potential for weekend overtime. Bilingual Spanish/English experience required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in manufacturing or production
- Demonstrated experience in supervising or leading teams
- Strong leadership skills
- Math skills
- Ability to complete detailed paperwork accurately
- Familiarity with production management systems, machinery, and tools used in a manufacturing environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Bilingual (fluent in Spanish and English)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to handle sensitive company information with discretion
- Commitment to upholding food safety, quality control, and safety standards
- Ability to work in a cold environment for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
