Production Supervisor (Temporary)

Job Summary
Production Supervisor responsible for leading assembly and sub-assembly production lines, ensuring compliance with production schedules while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency. Drives short-term operational needs and customer commitments through effective team leadership and continuous improvement in a high-volume, high-mix manufacturing environment. Key duties include supervising production personnel, ensuring adherence to schedules, monitoring KPIs (efficiency, scrap, downtime, productivity), coordinating line startups and changeovers, leading Lean initiatives (5S, Kaizen, SMED), conducting time and motion studies, balancing lines, coordinating corrective actions from quality issues, ensuring safety compliance and PPE usage, collaborating with maintenance/quality/logistics/engineering, training operators and line leaders, and preparing production reports for performance analysis. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree, 1–2 years of relevant experience, leadership experience, knowledge of Lean tools, and strong problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related (IE / IMA)
- 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing or production environments
- Experience managing personnel or leading production-related projects
- Experience in high-volume / high-mix manufacturing environments
- Intermediate to advanced English (preferred 90%)
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement tools (A3, 5S, Kaizen, SMED)
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
