Production Supervisor - Swing Shift

Job Summary
Supervise a team of up to 30+ individuals in the daily production of quality corrugated products, ensuring a safe and productive environment with minimal waste. Maintain quality, efficiency, and production levels while overseeing truck loading, paperwork, and inventory management. Implement continuous improvement actions and coordinate repairs with maintenance staff. Keep upper management informed of departmental issues and enforce corrective procedures as needed. Develop cross-training plans to ensure shift performance and support employee professional growth. Manage multiple concurrent issues under pressure to achieve performance goals. Work Monday through Friday on the swing shift overlapping the 1st and 2nd shifts.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of manufacturing experience
- 2 to 4 year proven track record of successful production management in a similar role
- High School Diploma/GED
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Previous experience with Lean Manufacturing and 5S
- Proficient in E-mail, Excel, Word, and company software
- Understanding operating cost, knowledge of cost issues to make decisions that reduce overall costs
- Ability to analyze data for identifying areas of improvement
- Good mechanical abilities
- Basic math skills, including addition and subtraction of fractions
- Ability to read and understand measurements on a tape measure
