Production Supervisor

Job Summary
Supervise, plan, and coordinate all production operations on assigned shifts to maintain schedules, quality, and cost standards while overseeing a team of 30+ direct reports. Ensure quality of work, efficient material flow, and proper equipment usage through daily hands-on support and continuous improvement initiatives. Implement lean manufacturing practices, lead employee training and tier meetings, and coach staff to reduce scrap and maintain safe, clean environments via 5S and OPEX standards. Evaluate work performance, initiate disciplinary actions as required, and drive morale and efficiency across the manufacturing facility.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years steel fabrication background with hands-on experience in a steel environment
- At least 5 years Supervisor experience in manufacturing steel industry
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work duties
- A proven track record applying Lean Manufacturing techniques
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Demonstrates strong leadership, motivation, and supervisory qualities
- Ability to manage priorities and demonstrate a high-level reactivity in sense of urgency
Desired Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English other languages is a plus
- Knowledge of racking is a plus
